Yeah, those numbers are just awful; it's doing worse than quite a few late night anime. Nichigo won't get the ratings that Gundam SEED and Fullmetal Alchemist got on doroku, but I would think the broadcasters are expecting higher numbers than this. Perhaps most people thought that it was an anime only for otaku since the first season aired on late night. It also doesn't help that Code Geass never got an airing at a decent time in the Kantou region of Japan. At least in Kansai, MBS aired the first season right before Gundam 00 in the Fall to give it some exposure to a casual fanbase. In that sense, I'm a bit more curious as to what R2's numbers are in Kansai.
