^Yeah, I think that's what a lot of people don't realize about OP..... the storylines are very well-structured. It would just be plain boring if it were a pure battle manga. I mean, maybe that kind of thing works for old-school series like DB or Kinnikuman, but OP is a bit of a different beast (of course, Jojo tends to take a bit of an anarchic approach to story structure at many points, but Araki's so awesome that he can get away with it
).
