Nope, Houki's silhouette in Uchigane was shown in the promotional video too.
The WK is indeed smaller than any other unit in the old drawing... but as you said before, it's anime-only, the novel only give the description of the weapon type and that's it. However, Choco's scheme has both WK and Uchigane around that size. I have little doubt that other unit will soon followed.
