It may cause a tension from Tatenashi side, she may call him a tease (ironic I know) and Irish will be dumbfounded. As for Karon, I believe she'll impressed and thanked him, but don't see it as romantic (she's chaste heroine IIRC).
Have Irish do it on Laura as well, or vice versa, so Kyuukai going NADS!
