Heh, yeah. I know I'd have been miffed.
But what about peer pressure. I'm sure that they're all 'responsible' people, but I get the impression that there is a lot of 'go with the flow' going on, and the younger ones might not be able to say no, or just get caught in the moment. Because unless I missed something all competitors regardless of age stay in the village, and relatives (family) can't stay with them and while I'm sure they have chaperones I doubt they're as effective as their parents.
