I am suprised that no one has mentioned this movie: Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. In fact, the Vampire Hunter D series can somewhat be called the definitive Vampire series in Japan, even if most of the series is confined to novel format (a new movie is scheduled some time in the next year or two).

Spoiler for Slight movie spoilers.: This particular movie has a solid secondary character romance between a vampire and a regular woman. In fact, this romance is the driving force of the movie, even if it does not involve the main character.
