I just believe that, regardless of how incredibly screwed my ethical system is, Ramadhan is a month-long period worthy of respect. I mean, I don't turn angel overnight, but nevertheless I do believe that even though if you're a hard-drinkin', hard-partyin' social wreck the least you can do is to tone it down.
Sort of how you don't crack bad jokes during someone's funeral.
