Spoiler for Last Code – Demon King Zero:
- With the defeat of the Absolute Emperor, Charles, Eden Vital Organisation was destroyed.
- Euphemia, the new emperor in name and reality, overthrew the tyrant, Charles, as promised, abandoned Britannia’s policy, and carried out liberalization of the Areas.
- However, it is not easy to abolish the control system of an area which had been going on for years.
- The transfer of the power is carried out progressively to each Area
- Meanwhile, the public order is maintained by the combination of the remaining army of Britannia and temporary regular army.
- However, the regular army in the Areas were the origin of the rebel army. Of course, during this time, conflict occurred in various places with the stationed Britannia troop.
- The new emperor, Euphemia had to taking the full brunt of the hostility against the superpower Britannia once more since the loss of the common enemy, Charles, the Absolute Emperor.
- The world is turning towards chaos once again.
**** - Since the disappearance of Zero, Ohgi assumed the position as the leader of the Black Knight.
- Ohgi couldn't believe that Zero died in Kaminejima.
- Tamaki had doubts with Suzaku's words as he is the knight of Emperor Empress Euphemia. Kallen stopped him from saying all these as they are going to sign an deed(I think it is transfer of control of Japan) with Euphemia.
- Kaguya want Tamaki to acknowledge the fact that Zero is longer with them
- Ohgi and company were wondering about Zero's motive for fighting against Britannia but what Kaguya believed is Zero had left the future of Japan to them and they have the responsibility (to build a better future)

- In the government office Euphemia was reminiscing. It was farewell to the government office. She questioned Suzaku if it is ok for him not to remain in Japan?
- Suzaku responded that he is the knight of Emperor Euphemia, her Majesty. With the hostility against Britannia, as a knight, his priority mission is to be the shield of Her Majesty
- Lelouch showed up at this point in time and pointed out to Suzaku that "You are as stubborn as ever. Just be honest and tell her that you want to stay by her side."
- Both Euphemia and Suzaku was surprise to see Lelouch. Suzaku was mad of his disappearance after the battle in Kaminejima while Euphemia went straight to the point with her request for him to work with them in the rebuilding of the world. With Zero, the hero who liberated Japan, it's possible. Lelouch rejected the request as Zero died in Kaminejima. He is the Demon King of Eden Vital who bring about chaos to the world and he came in the purpose to bid farewell to those who loves Lelouch.

- Lelouch approached Nunnally at the roof. Nunnally recognised him as her brother who commented if that was the way she address the demon king?
- Nunnally replied that he was the same big brother she last seen 9 years ago before she lost her sight.
- Lelouch wanted to say something but was cut off by Nunnally who suggested that they take a walk.
- Nunnally updated Lelouch that she volunteered to be the ambassador between Britannia and Japan after returning to the royalty. Today is her first official business for the signing ceremony, therefore, she was feeling a little nervous. Nunnally would work hard as this is the path she chose.
- Nunnally was not lost anymore. As for Lelouch, he was still wondering about his existence for inheriting C.C. as a Demon King.
- Their (Lelouch and Nunnally) power, “The Zero”, is the power to send everything into nothingness. Due to the contract with C.C., “The Zero”, Lelouch obtained death, it was to release the witch from her duty.
- As C.C. wished, she obtained “death” and returned to Eden Vital. At the same time, all the Geass brought by C.C. disappeared from this world. Now, as the Demon King, his mission is to spread the Geass over the world for the sake of escalating the chaos of the world. That is the meaning of the power of the Demon King sent by Eden Vital.
- Nunnally had a different opinion for the meaning of the Demon King. Through the contact with the Heaven Door, she had seen various possible worlds apart from this world. Over there, there are many people who experience sad and bitter past. Their world is just one of the infinite possible universes to be found out.
- If father and mother’s plan is accepted, "The Zero" will be released by the Heaven’s Door, the other worlds will soon come to light (Destroying the other worlds as well? ). Eden Vital will not only be just the past. Besides, there will be full of sadness and joy.
- Nunnally felt that if there is a future where they live in, no matter how much time it takes, she believes that a gentle world can be realized.
- Lelouch was enraged. to him that is just idealist thought and dreams! He did not believe there is hope for the world. Nunnally understood that but she stoood by her own belief. They may not see it in their lifetime but, it's possible that a gentle world could be realised.
- Understood that this is the significance of the Demon King to Nunnally. The reason Nunnally had chosen the future for this world, Lelouch will disappear from this world. Eventually Suzaku, Euphie and you will become hostile to one another. But, no matter where, and what kind of existence, her big brother, Lelouch will continue to love his sister, Nunnally.
- Before he disappeared, he dropped her hints to look for the person was also feeling perplexed.

- Sancia and the irregulars had lost their powers (C.C. took all Geasses with her).
- Dalque was complaining on the inconvenience for the loss of Geass. She became a frail girl who couldn't do physical work (her Geass was strength related. Dalque is no longer a girl with dark skinned. That could be due to the effect of her Geass, her skin colour turned dark). Dalque was wonder where Alice had been and why was she still staying with them. By rescuing the princess of Britannia, she would obtain the position as the knight of honour without a doubt.
- That was something Alice had to sort it out herself.
****
- Alice was up on the roof in Ashford reminiscing on the first time she met Nunnally. The roof was where they first met. Nunnally approached commenting about the same thing.
- It was seen that Nunnally had been searching for her
- Why did you leave without a world. I had been searching for you.
- By the time she was aware, she realise that she couldn’t leave Nunnally.
- It’s not the illusion of her dead sister. It was the feeling of a knight when she was fighting in Kaminejima to protect Nunnally. She blamed herself for misleading Nunnally to choose a world without her family. And Nunnally’s became the ambassador between Britannia and Japan standing in the hostility from Japan. Instead of protecting Nunnally, she drove her to a harsh circumstance.
- Nunnally responded as Alice said, no matter how tough it is, a future which was given hope is wanted. Same for her. If Alice believed in this world she had chosen, she hoped that she will become her knight by handing her a knight medal. This time, it is not to protect, she wanted Alice to walk together with her to the future.
**** - Without the chaos brought by Geass
- Can death be avoided?
- That shall be ascertained by the Demon King C.C
.
Spoiler for Thoughts:
Overall, this series is indeed awesome to be speaking about parallel worlds (NoN ended after the anime after all).
This version of Lelouch is really feeling hopelessness for the future of this world. He would be observing the fate of this world somewhere. He granted C.C. her wish instead of giving her hope. This C.C. is really much more aggressive and determined than C.C. of LotR due to the harsher fate. Lelouch, by having a pair of black and white wing, still had a human side (white usually implies good). I was imagining that if he could cross the world, he must be the source to spread the curse of Geass to all the different worlds. He had wanted to spread them to bring about chaos, that is his duty. It would be fun to see him meeting with Lelouch from LoTR world. I bet they would have arguments with extreme opposite opinions . Rewards came from sacrifice. Come to think of it, Lelouch of NoN didn't lose much. Shirley, Euphemia were all alive. Lelouch of LotR really "invested" his feeling, hence he lost much, he gained just as much as a gentle world is achieved. That was where Lelouch of NoN lost out in but he is also alive watching over the world . Well, he didn't gain a harem (no CluClu, no Kalulu thank goodness). That was the major plus for NoN.
If this was the game of a chess, Nunnally is the player in this world for she was the one who confronted her parents and chose the world as it is. Nothing was changed and the world are all against Britannia. Euphemia took the blunt of it as she is the emperor. It must be really really hard for her. Lelouch is cruel for not helping her. Thank goodness, Suzaku, who could return to Japan chose to stay with her. Suzaku was saved from his fate for killing his father by his own hands, and his fate after that was changed ultimately. He could well become the head of Kururugi Clan and took control of Japan. Lelouch was 'teasing' him for not saying directly that he want to stay by Euphie's side. He understood his friend really well.
Rolo was never a brother. The poor boy seems to get a harsh fate whichever appearance he took in whichever world he is in (save for the cameo in SotC). One was obsessed with mother love and the other was all for the sake of Nii-san. I'm impressed by NoN Rolo. He is a leader of Eden Vital. He hated his brother and sister. He wanted to obtain powers and had his own will all along although he was still outplayed by his own fate.
Alice is a character who I wished she would appear in LotR. Perhaps, she would become Nunnally's knight watching over her.
No sign of Anya after that. This girl was an assassin in NoN. V.V. didn't exist. Marianne is still using her body in this world. Marianne left a better impression in this version. She is the worst in the novel version. Charles' Geass is badass for the ability to revive the body of a dead and turned them a zombie, a puppet for his own use.
My favourite line is. "Even so, I desire tomorrow!" LotR!Lelouch said it, NoN!Nunnally said it.

Was Milly Ashford in this version of the story? If so, whatever happened to her?
