I was being rather slack about watching this series until I heard about episode 3. I'm very impressed that

they killed CLovis off. At least they dared to! I hope they continue interesting little twists like this throughout the show; because then even if we have the usual cliche things I'd still be interested in watching it.

Coutn me in as one of the many people who thought of Light when they saw Lelouch "testing out" the conditions of power. I admit it is quite interesting to watch this kind of personality, but Light's is somewhat more scary because it takes place in a much more realistic world by design.

The Karen x Lulu interactions in this episode were kind of interesting. On one hand I was disappointed that Karen didn't match up to Lulu's level of smartness, but then again I quickly realised this is an unrealistic expectation... After all, he does have an unfair advantage and Karen couldn't have foreseen it. On the other hand it would almost be a bit unnatural if Karen could bypass all his traps.

However, I hope that eventually Karen proves herself to be on the level of Lelouch or Suzaku... Pardon me, I'm a bit of a sucker for having female leads that are on par with male leads in anime.

And pardon me for being rude, but to the people who are angry that seiyuu from the 80s are getting phased out, I suggest letting go and moving on... It's not like the "new" seiyuu really suck that much, and it's inevitable that they must eventually go, which doesn't make their decreasing number of major roles very surprising. Besides the money factor (doesn't it cost a helluva lot to get Furuya to appear even for a short while?), I'm sure some of them want a little more time to themselves...
I dunno, it just seems futile.
