"Hello everyone! We are very sorry for any inconvenience for those who have received a region error or who are unable to log in to the game at this time. We believe this issue is tied to the new security questions and answers that users were required to set up, and we expect all issues to be resolved after tonight’s website maintenance window. It is not related to your location.

Please make sure that you have set up your security questions and answers by going to http://www.swtor.com/user/account and logging in. From there, please click the link for ‘Security questions’ on the right under ‘Account Management’. If you are already logged in to the website, you can use this link.

If you have already set up your security questions, but are still receiving errors when trying to access the launcher, you may need to call Customer Support to have your security questions reset. (This requires a phone call to verify your identity.) Please refer to this FAQ answer for information on contacting support.

Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this problem. We are looking forward to everyone’s participation in the next Beta Testing Weekend!"
