Marco can be busy aswell too, Aokiji is still out there not to mention about Kizaru and Akainu.
With so many high level fighters everywhere you cant have much peace, I am sure Marco really wants to keep Luffy alive and its a direct order from Old man but Marco is also most powerful guy on Whitebeards forces and one of the few in the field that can keep admirals on check.
But I am sure someone will interfere Mihawks and Luffys 'fight' but we will see will it be Marco or perhaps someone else.
