This show is a surprisingly insightful and cautionary look at high school romance, if you ask me - albeit a bit exaggerated. It has already gone beyond the "typical high school romance" show and set itself apart from other shows in the genre.
In my mind this show provides a perfect example of a high school romance gone wrong... as much as To Heart is an example of a high school romance done right. Let's see how how far the show degenerates; it could prove to be a tragedy of Wagnerian proportions.
