That was sad. But ZnT isn't the kind of anime with surprising sad endings, so I think that things will go on like this in episode 12:

If there won't be an happy ending it would all be more interesting. But just too sad.

But ZnT isn't the kind of anime with surprising sad endings, so I think that things will go on like this in episode 12: Spoiler: Saito will someway steal a military plane and will get back to Louise's world - maybe through the moon path like his ancestor did in season 1, even if there was a time span of 70 years between a gate and another, I don't remember - Then he will bomb the dragon or either boost Louise's explosion and will decide to stay with her in Helgekinia.
