Exactly. It is a disservice and a shame that GSD Kira and Lacus win the same awards that GS Kira and Lacus did, although it is by popular vote so I guess that explains it - most people are more in love with the appearance of a character than the characters themselves.

well, okay I also think Kira and co aren't the same in Destiny anymore (in a negative way)... but I would still vote for them even thought fukuda screwed them. It's also difficult to separate them from GS and GSD because GSD is the next season of GS and you can't vote the characters only from GS because the old stuff appear in the new season.
