The angles look better (the grass still looks a bit odd but I think its because it doesn't seem to shrink with distance from the camera). The only problem I see left is the sword-to-Mai ratio adjusted for distance ... the sword looks right it is right next to her and huge rather than closer to the "camera".
(some of that may be the grass not shrinking with distance)
The raw sword size should be about half her raw height but you may be able to play with it til it looks more natural, like for example, in 2-d speak... moving Mai further back in the shot (shrinkage) or pushing sword forward in the shot .... the light angles look okay.

Pure art composition opinion, ignore at leisure:
Meophist suggested a few things .... I'd offer the idea of putting Mai closer to the camera looking at the viewer and having the sword chunked into the ground farther back in the shot (as if she had just flung it away and then turned to look at you).
