It's because Kubo lacks the mental wherewithal necessary to come up with an original plot, and he thinks that if he goes to English-speaking forums his Japanese readers won't realise where it's come from.
Either that or he's come to the decision that in a shounen manga plot unpredictability is more important than coherence, and has been reading the sensible ideas on Japanese forums and has decided to directly go against them (e.g. people suggesting that the silhouetted foot at the end of chapter 410 was Ryuuken and him having to prove them wrong by making it Don Kanonji)
