Even before that, in Love Hina, Kietaro's sister could do that as well, taking an identity by using some crazy justu; (changing bone structure to match height and build, mask making abilities, and ability to modulate vocal process).
So Yeah, old hat here unless, she can be like a Wonder Twin and turn into anything her heart's desire, like a animal, or inanimate object. Or something like what Pura from DBZ could do, or Shippo from Inuyasha. If she can't do that, then.....laaaaame!!!
Ahhh if she could do that then picture her transformation:
