Rikai-chan Firefox Add-on

You toggle it on, and then you hover your mouse over some Japanese. It translates them for you in a tooltip. Very, very useful in piecing stuff together by context.

If you download that extension, do not forget to go to this site:
http://www.polarcloud.com/rikaichan/
and install a dictionary for it.
Dare i hazard a guess and say that you use this for your manga work <3

Very useful tool, thank you, it'll help on re-affirming my vocabulary if i keep hovering over the same kanji over and over until it sticks.
Saves me from having to toss in mass chunks of text into my reading tutor program, now i can be lazier and can hover over.
(But does this work for flash embedded text on websites?)
(And does it allow you to customise how much you want highlighted as well?)

Only one way to find out, I suppose *puts on the IT tecchy hat*
PS: It's for firefox users only, so no Opera or IE people try to install it xD

EDIT:
Polarcloud's software will trigger FF's security pop-up and ask you if you wanna install an unsigned feature.
I can only assume that it's created in good faith and won't install any hidden nasties like adware on my lappy.

- And dammit, it doesn't pick up flash embedded stuff.
(curse you JP lyrics websites!!! *shakes her fist*)
As for customising:

How do I change keys, colors, configuration?

Go to Tools, Addons, Rikaichan, click Options.
Fairly detailed functions though, I think I've found my new love once I get through the entire options menu and configured it to my liking
