I saw "Tokyo Godfathers" on your to-watch list but I think other films by the late Satoshi Kon are more worthwhile:
- Paprika;
- Perfect Blue;
- Millennium Actress.
Or, if you want to see something completely different from the Ghibli Studios: My Neighbors The Yamadas.
