About that... that has always bothered me, what exactly does it mean to slow down the rotation by 5 minutes... Does it mean each day would be 24 hours and 5 minutes long!!!???
You'd have add 5 minutes per day, messing up every clock in the word (and if you don't then the daytime would be the one getting messed very quick). You'd also have to take a day out each year (so 364 day per year) and eliminate leap years to compensate if it really is this way.
Ok, anyone tell me if I'm misinterpreting the statement.
