Think about it, the implications of his ability being made known would throw the world into a frenzied manhunt. Unlike Ichika, he doesn't have the luck to be protected by a neutral nation. Of course, circumstances can vary. Said character may not even be involved in anything grand and flashy like our CCs are in, probably something small, out of world and probably ending up with that male pilot either dying or disappearing for good.
