Almost OT: As for my commentary, it's about the "traditional" Japanophile bloggers who are very critical about the so-called "Cool Japan" promo being pushed by the government (I think you know some of these pundits). The blogs were good in explaining some obscure facets of Japanese culture (both classical and modern) with full analysis and scholarly length, but on the subject of AKB, they start picking on it, thus alienating a portion of their reading audience. If they want true credo, they have to be open-minded.
