So people stop wondering : elementary kids totally ride metro and trains by themselves to go to school in Tokyo. Usually not alone, at least by pairs but if one doesn't show up like in this case, they may go alone, exceptionally. Except for kinder-garden kids, never saw any adult accompanying them.
