Regardless, think about it, Japanese anime started pre-WW2 and influenced Disney in his works. I've never seen it stated anywhere that anime influenced Disney. Western animation as a whole was already big business back when he started doing it (some of his own work drew inspiration from Fritz the Cat), and the timing alone suggests that the origins of animation in Japan were influenced by that same animation boom in the West. "Anime" as we see it now was unquestionably influenced by Disney, since it starts with the works of Osamu Tezuka.
