The second episodes adds up the other main casts: nurse Marikawa, Saya Takagi, Kouta Hirano, and Saeko Busujima.
While I don't mind the fanservice in this show, I do find Marikawa-sensei's one-dimensional and wooden personality absolutely annoying. I had enough with that big-breasted but zero-brains maid girl from
Princess Resurrection.
As I can recall from the manga, she wasn't that overly irritating.
Let's move on topic.
The second episode dealt about the characters' frailty as humans, overall.
Spoiler:
In short, Saya tried to project herself as very assertive and in control of her emotions, putting-up that firm and diligent "school council president" front, but when she relaxed her guard off at the trophy room and found herself helpless and at the mercy of the zombie standing mere inches away from her, her survival instinct made her to snapped and struggle to survive.
A very human mistake for one to reinforce his or her weaknesses or cover them up, at least, by proyecting a different kind of personality to the rest of the people.
Saya was the last to try to cope and adapt into the new reality that she did not wish for, hence, after the incident with that zombie that forced her to kill it so hysterically, she was left emotionally drained and at the verge of breaking.
Saya's a very interesting character but would work best for her not to put on a masquerade so as to hide her frailty, because she's now in the same boat as Takashi, Rei, Hirano, Saeko, and Marikawa-sensei do.
BTW, Saeko's The Goddess in this show.
