Spoiler for NSISA Developments:
Breaking News!
By way of recent developing information, the US NSISA has released confirmation on the factory production of three new SIS units to be placed in low Earth orbit within the next week!
Since February of last year, various sources have leaked the knowledge of NSISA's latest breakthrough in SIS technology since the last model, Lateralus, took to the skies. Many production companies have been anticipating the release of a new model, as many floors have gone dark in recent months due to production inactivity. With a newer, bigger model to be unveiled, at least 50 factories are expected to start up again in preparation for the new model.
The new pilot for the first frame to be produced of the three is as of yet undecided, but sources predict that IS pilot, Jenna Catherine, will take the first seat.
After the production of Lateralus, Russia exceeded the USA's output in frames, though a proposed plan by NSISA proclaims for a jump-start in Zeus-10 and Lateralus production across the nation.
There are nearly 300 SIS in current operation by the US, compared to the nearly 500-count by Russians. The projected plan predicts that the US can hope to see 700 SIS within three years, an astounding rate of production. By the current Russian standards, the US will still lag behind by approximately 100 units within three years. The budget given to the NSISA has increased dramatically in the time span of two months, and while many in Congress opposed the plan, it was put into effect by a narrow margin, just a mere five votes in favor. Also in the news from the NSISA, the first project of Zeus-10, has been recently upgraded, allowing for atmospheric entry and exit. It seems as though ground and air combat is now possible for the Zeus-10, but studies have yet to how a true result in performance.
The new model is projected to outperform all previously produced models by nearly three-fold, even surpassing the Japanese Sirius models. Photos and a name of these frame has yet to be determined, but quickly updating news will provide you with the information as soon as possible.
That was fun.
