Never said the situation was perfect (and certainly not holding up Coke as any kind of model...), but I think that if we do want to be serious about aiding poorer countries we have to open are markets to them.
That said, I have to disagree about most of the savings going to the board of directors. Since clothes started being outsourced to China, clothing has never been cheaper. You can get 10 T Shirts for 10$, and 5 dress shirts for 15$.
Now if you're going to go off and buy Adidas, you're still paying the same prices. But in that case you're really paying for the Adidas on your shoe, not the shoe itself...
