It didn't. The only one closest to some kind of "fame" is Emiri Katou (Kagami), who left a small wave of internet acknowledgment with her role of Kinoshita Hideyoshi, the "
third gender" from Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu.
Returning to the first quote; when you consider shows like BtTtS or Working!! and their success followed by 2nd seasons, there's really no reason for Lucky Star to lack its own 2nd season or to be considered just a "DVD extra". It is still a very memorable show deserving of more attention. Attention, that's almost impossible to acquire due to how the anime ended, sadly enough.
