Spoiler for Ondul! Precure 09 - Obake va Akadyan:
It's been a while since it was brought up in the show, so I'd actually forgotten that Mana was the student council president. She's not quite a Kurimu, but she's also not an Eli, either. I see her as a magical girl first, president second. Another episode instigated by Joe being way too suspicious and dropping off Ai with his stalking powers. It's clear he's on their side, but he's not being direct about it. A very fairy-heavy episode, but not too oversaturated. Alice and Makopi didn't have much to do, unfortunately, thanks to going to different schools and not going to school at all. I don't mind Ai giving the girls a power up every now and then (that's what she's there for), but not every episode. Some episodes don't necessarily need new merchandise. At least, not to that extent. The sports team Selfishes were the fun goofy kind of MotW, that challenge the heroines not to a game of power, but a game of wits. I like monsters like that.
If a magical girl comes from another world, she still has to go to school. That goes for Fate, that goes for Reirei, and it goes for Makopi too. Because she's transferring in next week. The love triangle that exists entirely in my head becomes canon! Sort of!
This was the first episode that just felt like a day in the life kind of deal - one we'll probably get many more of - but it was still pretty enjoyable by the character interaction alone. Mana and Rikka have some great chemistry.
