I honestly believe the reason why Sumika isn't as easily likeable is because compared to the other girls, she never really had a chance to prove she is awesome.

While the others have tons of development in both Extra and Unlimited, Sumika just kinda stays the same from her Extra incarnation and is plopped in near the end of Alternative. You can't even choose her, she's just kind of imposed on you and she knows it too to her mental detriment (which is why she made the Final Extra world as it is). I think more people would like her more if she was in the team while they were still cadets, imagine how useful she would be for the combat evaluation and the 12/5 incident. That body was designed like the cy-breeds from Resurrection to fight powered armor and BETA head on.
