Liked the fast pacing and awesome character action, seriousness, and the unknown of where it's headed, definitely didn't like the choice to kill off Kanade and the kid being the lead.

Very good ep but Kanade's death almost took all of the air out of the show for me since Kanade and Tsubasa fighting (both of whom were neat looking characters demoted to not leads) was the part of the show I was interested in and their action was pretty cool and she kinda felt like she had the style of a Gainax heroine.

Yeah, always looking forward to Satelight's shows.

He's probably not reading the thread anymore but just in case, keep up the great work Thomas!

Was really glad to see this was getting a scifi setting.

Is that supposed to be a spear?

Site also has a "Movie" section now, though no content as of yet. Looks like we'll get a PV soon.
That was a sweet pic.

Looks like it's going to indeed be one of those genre mash-ups were I like one aspect and loath others.
Yup, same here, heh.

Probably a bit yuri.

This, man, is the next Macross. With a bit of Ar Tonelico. And Mai-Otome.
Also, the black version of Tsubasa's fighting gear looks like KOS-MOS (from Xenosaga).

TAKEN.
Yeah. I know what you mean I got a KOS-MOS vibe from it too which was really cool.
