Well, to be fair, China did sent almost 9 million USD aid during Japan's 2011 earthquake, so it's not like they never send any aid(or only send little aid) to other country like what some of the poster here seems to imply. It might be that this case is special, or like Archmage said China is busy add the moment assesing their own damage and have to delay further aid until they've finished licking their own wound.
