If you're still looking for a sequential image viewer/manga reader I'd highly recommend QComicBook. It's also Qt4 based so doubt you'll need any extra libs to use it, assuming you already got gwenview up and running. It also reads from zip/rar archives and I've found it flexible enough for my needs, give it a try
Yeah, having to disable zoom to fit every time is annoying.

But QComicBook seems to do the job right. So thanks for sharing it.
