The Alvand is also a British built ship, this one a guilded missiles frigate (FFG) commissioned in 1971. It has 1 x 114mm cannon, 2 x 35mm cannons, 3 x 20mm cannons, and 3 machine guns. Also 4 ship to surface missiles (Chinese C-802) She is 1,350 tons.
The Isrealis have more than enough ships to deal with them if that was needed, and the American Sixth Fleet also has more that enough firepower to take out one Iranian frigate in combat. If they provoke anybody that is.
