So is Takeda's left arm still injured, or is he just protecting it out of psychological trauma? If it's the latter, then there's no excuse. His master should have beat that horrible habit out of him long ago.

Knowing how to use both Dou and Sei techniques are fine, just not together at once like Ryuuto/Odin did. That's not really a third option.
