So... I'm starting to see just how similar Maria and Beatrice really are...

Aside from the initial shock that Maria finally dies in the game, it starts to come out that maybe she's not really all that special a piece in the murderous games at Rokkenjima, that perhaps it's simply because she wasn't chosen by the roulette of death the previous 2 times.

That said, after seeing the events of her and Rosa murders, plus the subsequent talkdown Beatrice receives from Battler as the the cruel nature of its presentation, I start to see just how similar they are. As Ronove pointed out, Beatrice never had any friends, and if her reactions during Eva-Beatrice's spree were any indication, also socially maladjusted.

Just like Maria.
