No, actually we know these 3 guys are great characters and are awesome in their piloting styles and skills. Whether is it kicking the heads off the enemy MSes, insane sword techniques, mad dodging, catching/blocking bullets/giant fists etc. etc.
These guys are more dynamic than just beam spamming.
