The only LNs I've seen to have multiple volumes in seling around 10k a week for 5-6 weeks are Bakemonogatari (best selling tv series since Eva), Durarara (20k avg per volume which is fantastic and a sequel is a matter of when not if), Bake Test (5k avg but sequel on the way...) and OreNo (20k avg and a sequel will be made for sure..)
So yeah looks like a good chance of IS selling decently and getting a sequel anime, even if it's towards the low end like Bake Test it might be worth it since a small profit from anime + boost in LN and other media is makes a 2nd series an attractive proposition. for its backers.
