I don't think Mikuru is secretly a lesbian with Stockholm Syndrome. (I also don't think Koizumi is anything more gay than maybe bisexual, but that's just me.)
Given Mikuru's attachment to Kyon for protection, and her clear physical attraction for Koizumi during his first appearance, I don't think the Snow Mountain Illusions have anything to do with who likes who.
