I think the only times I have rated an episode less than 10 is if the animation really bugged me. Plotwise, everything is always flowing excellently. The animation is back to its original shoujo glory so 11/10.

Spoiler for 8:

The first half of the episode is basically filled with tension and emotional drama from Ruka then came Yuuki and everything picked up again. She just brightened the place. Her crushing tendencies here with the heartshaped towel is so cute. If she only knew Kaname had no idea what she was thanking him for lol I am also surprised that vampires are daywalkers here--sunset I can understand, but walking on broad daylight and without an umbrella? I didn't think the worst thing that can happen to them was a sunburn and not a pile of ash. I have more to say about the other characters but all I can remember now is that Zero and Kaname are certified swoon materials.

I don't think Shizuka's hair is purple. :| Her hair looked more like Zero's haircolor to me.
