I never said that Sakura didn't (or couldn't) like Saber. I just said that developing the two side by side is a bit of a daunting task to me at the moment because I, personally, do not have a good grasp of Sakura's character and don't know how well I'd do at developing her in the story.

That's my plan right now, yeah. For the time being Saber has her corruption under control (though she's aware of it, on some level), but it will gradually get worse over time until a major event finally pushes her over the edge and causes her to accept the corruption and allow Alter to manifest. The problem then becomes, in this scenario, whether or not Saber could regain control after that.

In theory, Saber Alter was emotionless because she was trapped in the Shadow/Angra Mainyu for so long. If she merely corrupted over time, I don't see why she couldn't keep emotions, just wicked emotions.

Yeah, that was what I was playing with. My theory being that if Alter had been corrupted over time (in this case, was in Saber sooner and given more time to, I don't know, exist?), she would be more prone to expressing emotions towards Saber. Of course, mostly she just expresses negative emotions and temptation for Saber to give in to the corruption.
