I wonder though ... remembering back to Saki and Koromo's match, when Saki began to bounce back Koromo was unable to detect how she was "regaining her power", she only felt as if a shadow/cloud were covering over the full moon. I wonder whether Saki, after many years of playing her monster sister, gained a sort of ability to "evade detection" (in Teru's context that would be her mirror ability) while playing?

well at the start of the saki series saki says that she had to lose on purpose or else her family will get angry, so maybe saki was kicking terus arse back then ^^
