Draging their relationship for no good reason. Showing Zessica caring while Mikono is not. Amata moping over trivial stuff instead of taking action. I think the show is trying too hard to be deconstructive (sorry, I know it's not a word) and unpredictable with the romance that it falls on it's face.
Sacrificing quality for the sake of trying to out-smart the audience, and it's weak because of that.
