Pfft, I didn't feel as much emotion when Nobu cried in 2011 as I did in 1999. In 1999, they kind of built their relationship up showing that they were closer to each other than other Spider members; specifically when Nobu and Uvo argued about whether Uvo should go after the chain user. When Nobu cried in 1999, it really felt like he lost a close friend, due to how the scene was portrayed, and previous scenes they were involved in, but in 2011, it felt like their relationship wasn't any different from other Spiders until now. Other than that, both series were about on-par with one another in terms of content.
