Interesting, the setting kind of reminds me of Ever17.
I wonder if its Nakazawa's answer to 999? Maybe they (Kotaro Uchikoshi and Takumi Nakazawa) argued after Remember11 and decided to see who does a better Ever17 spiritual successor ;p
