Depends, I build him full brick wall, Warmogs first followed by the usual tanky stuff (sunfire, frozen heart/randuins, spirit visage, bulwark if nobody else is, ect). Besides Vayne/Kog/maw just about nothing can get through the ~5000 hp+heaps of resists Tank'Gath in any reasonable time (if they don't have a heap of %hp damage your response to a bad situation is simply walk back to base), and I have enough crowd control (and Feast) to prevent them from just ignoring me.
