I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you're referring to the manga, because as we've said, the anime does her character a bit more justice than the manga. She's had a couple of cute interactions with each of those characters you find she is lacking in her interactions with.

Spoiler for Anime-only:

She's even fought in a filler battle on Tenrou Island against some of the previously defeated Grimoire Heart villains (just as part of that "holding the fort" thing everyone else was doing while Natsu and co. were duking it out with Hades). In fact, she pulls off an attack that all but mimics one of Natsu's. And if the latest opening sequence is anything to go by, she'll likely be getting her hands dirty once again, and alongside Mirajane and Elfman at that.

That's one of my favorite aspects of the anime. They actually show us some things that Hiro Mashima likely wanted to show in the manga, but couldn't. And even if it wasn't intended...well, they show it anyway.
