Maria's still a better all around character. In addition to her gun attacks, she is also good in close combat or as a support character with healing spells. While fayt has decent attacks too, like dimension door and ethereal blast (which I don't have yet
) which make him useful in actual gameplay, you have to admit, by the end of the game he becomes redundent to the story.
Of course I could also have been refering to Sophia. After all, Fayt is much better off with Maria in the end.
