Plus its not an unknown series either, its one of popular with the intended audience style shows, but its not really aimed at the same, young reader base as dbz or Naruto, more mid/late teens and twenties. As Rajura said there is a lot more depth. Lots of good reviews though and its a bit of a marmite setting and series due to the subject matter so it was never likely to win as big a fan base, but conversely because of that those who like it tend to stick with it, as suggested sales would imply (the boss of yen press said the novels are selling well and funimation have licensed the second season suggesting the first did well).
I originally found it after seeing it mentioned elsewhere too and now its pretty much my favourite property out of Japan.

Ps Rajura tell me if you see any more of the mugs and cups around on the bay or wherever, I'd like some!
