^ I think the problem with this episode--at least for me--is that Ririchiyo was alone with Soushi for an extended period of time. Pairing them off in scenes can be painfully boring and predictable. How can there be any interesting dynamics or dialogue when one person considers themselves an unworthy slave to the other?
